What in the world is an AI Flywheel?

Bezos backstory

After reading Brian Dumaine’s Bezonomics, I felt deeply inspired by the second chapter, “The Richest Man In the World”. Bezos started from humble beginnings, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, under Jeffrey Preston Jorgenson. Jeff later changed his last name to Bezos after his stepfather, Mike Bezos, adopted him. Upon graduating with a 4.2 GPA from Princeton, Bezos started his career on Wall Street. At age 33, Jeff left his prestigious position as senior vice president at the famous hedge fund D.E. Shaw to move to Seattle and launch Amazon.com

It was not Bezos' Wall Street career or Ivy league education that gave birth to Amazon. The initial $100,000 to fund the company came from Jeff's parents! The catalyst behind Amazon has always been the tremendous vision and dedication of its leader. Amazon's story proves that putting passion behind innovative ideas is a core ingredient in the success of any business. 

AWS

Business owners oversee many areas, including sourcing products, managing inventory, and fulfilling orders. To support businesses with day-to-day tasks, Amazon Web Services, or AWS, was put into place. AWS is praised for offering robust data management solutions. AWS tracks purchases made on Amazon and generates valuable statistics on customer preferences using artificial intelligence. AI then makes personalized product recommendations, increasing sales. Amazon's flywheel approach continually drives customers to the site, allowing the cycle of growth to continue.
